I've been a customer with HiVelocity for two months now, and until now I've been very satisfied. I've posted an intial 2 days review and a 30 day review of HiVelocity, both very positive as my experience with HiVelocity has been great until now.

I'm not the person that runs to WHT to rant about companies whenever something is wrong, I give them the chance to fix their problems and I give companies credit when due (as seen by my reviews above).

But now I'm getting real fed up, friday night (UK time) my server went down/became very unresponsive. I at once sendt a supportticket, and as usual I got a friendly reply within minutes. They tried to reboot the server, but the main harddrive had failed and had become corrupted. I have daily backups taken to my backup drive on the same server, so I was rather calm - but of course realizing that the server would be down for a couple of hours. Support did respond and wanted to know which controlpanel and OS I wanted reloaded (CentOS/DirectAdmin) and wether or not I had backups. I replied with the essential information and waited for my server to get back online. So far so good.

4 hours later, and no sign of my server I replied to the ticket. No response. Then another reply. No response. I talke to live chat, and they assured me that my server would be back online very soon and that a tech was working on the server. 5 new hours, no server online. Same loop, talked to live chat - again the told me that a tech now was working on the server and that they had forwarded this to a senior tech and the issue was to be solved as soon as possible.

Now, almost 40 hours later and six chats with their live support and new tickets I'm still not seeing any sign of my server. I did get one reply to my ticket 6 hours ago, telling me that the issue was to be solved as soon as possible and that the server now was at some senior techs office and he was in the process of reloading it, but seriously I doubt it.

So please HiVelocity, could you just tell me the truth next time - I would much more appreciate to get an actual estimate on when my server will be online again, rather telling me someones working on the server when they don't seem to do so?
